We have two tandems instructors at SkyDive Mauritius. Let us introduce you one of these two : Chris. You surely knows him if you’ve ever came to SkyDive Mauritius.

He was born in South Africa and, according to him, he’s paid to give fun to people!
Chris knows the world of skydiving since his childhood. His father was in the Air-Army so he was used to see dad jumping.

He made his first jump at the age of 23 et he lived the same experience as everyone : he was scared impressed, even terrified. But once he has landed, he knew that he wanted to make this again and again and again… That’s how started his story.

Since then, he’s been jumping all the time : in South Africa to start, to learn and to perfect. Then it’s European Tour : Spain, Belgium, Germany… He arrived in Mauritius in 2010.

Today, Chris has more than 6,000 jumps (Yes! Six Thousands!!!). He also has a “super-instructor-licence” that allows him to train skydivers to become instructor and to certify others instructors.

We really can say he loves his job. If you want to ask him what he likes the most in Mauritius, he has his answer ready ” SkyDiving of course! It’s really great to work here : the weather is warm and sunny, there is a great team and clients are really delighted with their experience. It’s all fun! And what a view! I’m still not tired of this.”
